American made compact semi-automatic striker-fired pistol chambered for .40 Smith & Wesson, and manufactured in Springfield, MA. This is a Performance Center pistol with model number (11870), and it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Pistol features a stainless steel ported slide with a matte black Armornite finish, a 3.1" ported stainless steel Armornite finished barrel with loaded chamber view port, tritium dovetailed blade front sight with orange outline, tritium dovetailed square notched rear sight, scalloped slide serrations, full-length metal guide rod assembly with dual recoil springs, smooth curved two-piece trigger safety trigger, serrated frame mounted manual safety, stainless steel chassis system, granular textured polymer frame with S&W M&P logos on both sides, slightly undercut trigger guard, 18 degree grip angle, granular textured push-button magazine release, serrated slide stop, and serrated take-down lever. The original Armornite finish retained is approximately 99% with little to speak of. Metal displays no rust, or deformation. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. Frame polymer is in excellent condition with nothing remarkable. Pistol includes the original factory cardboard box with end label, two 7-round OEM magazines total, and a cable lock.
